This is because the bay is protected from prevailing wind directions and the waves are therefore more “organized” and cleaner. The wave itself breaks on sand and runs very smoothly and slowly. This is ideal for learning and improving the right technique.

So that you can be rookie or experienced beginner If you feel comfortable and safe, we will first provide you with all the basic theoretical information in our Chill Out area before we get into the water. We take our job very seriously to provide the best surfing experience possible. All Surf Spirit coaches are well-trained and experienced to provide you with the necessary analytical feedback and take your surfing to the next level. In addition to surfing lessons, you can use our equipment free of charge and also go surfing on your own at any time.

After your week in the Surf Spirit Jungle Villa, you have developed a safe stand-up technique on the board, a controlled ride on the wave and can master your first manoeuvres. In addition to these skills, you will be able to independently identify good spots where you can safely go surfing yourself in the future.

In the video analysis We will go into more detail about your surfing experience and you will receive helpful, individual advice on how to improve your technique. Our professional photographer will also capture your best waves, so you can take your personal surf photos with you as a reminder at the end of your week.

When you as Intermediate surfer (level 3) When you come to us, we will first check your current surfing status so that we can then precisely improve your technique and knowledge together to bring you to the next level. With our experienced surf coaches, you will focus on the next individually necessary steps to make your improvement as efficient as possible. Our lessons are specifically tailored to each surfer's individual needs to get the best result during your stay with us. We often deal with wave reading, wave selection, pop-up timing, taking the best line of the wave and introducing or improving the maneuvers (bottom & top turn, cutback and more). You also have the opportunity to take part in our additional, free service, Surf Guiding. Please note that our coaches will check whether guiding at a challenging surfing spot matches your surfing level.

Advanced Surfer (level 4) We also have the opportunity to challenge yourself in larger and faster waves with our surf guiding. This is an additional service for our surfers who already feel comfortable on a reef. These sessions are also offered early in the morning (info: this may make you miss yoga in the morning). That means you jump into the jeep with your coach in the morning, he explains some details about the commercial and gives you individual tips. Then simply enjoy surfing together. Structured guiding should be seen as a supplement to our surf courses. Please note that our coaches will check whether guiding at a challenging surfing spot matches your surfing level.

A small bridge takes you across a river to our fantastic yoga island cabanña. The cabaña is in complete privacy and the background noise of the jungle. Let yourself be carried away by the sound of birds, crickets and the visit of our yogi lizard, which sometimes comes by to greet you, and connect completely with yourself. The Jungle Villa with its yoga island cabaña is particularly suitable for all those who want to completely relax in nature during yoga classes. Find focus, deceleration and relaxation at the same time.

In the morning before breakfast, you will start the day strengthened by our activating Vinyasa Yoga session. You don't need any previous experience for our yoga lessons. Every level is welcome. Our coaches ensure that you feel individually challenged, supported and, of course, absolutely comfortable at all times.

The second yoga class of the day is a very relaxing yin session in the red light of sunset, so that the day can be completed in a relaxed way. In yin, we focus on stretching and releasing tense muscle groups. Especially after surfing lessons, your body will be looking forward to this relaxing hour before dinner. Guided meditation sessions are included in yoga classes and are intensified if individual interest is required. Every coach is happy to hear your wishes and has an open ear to make your yoga experience at Surf Spirit as fulfilling as possible.
